Developmental Education
This college-level educational support program is designed to provide access to success for Isothermal Community College students. Support is provided through prerequisite and co-requisite developmental English and math courses, as well as academic-related courses (ACA).
Students whose placement indicates a need for prerequisite or co-requisite developmental courses, as well as students who choose to strengthen their academic foundation, may enroll in the following courses. Class formats include self-paced, lecture, web-assisted, and online instruction. In every format, instructors work closely with students to build skills, confidence, and a strong foundation for life-long learning. Courses offered are:

ACA 122: Transfer and Career Success is required for all degree-seeking students. We strongly recommend that degree-seeking students enroll in an ACA course during their first semester.
